What is FNS

FNS is a system of association between names and IP addresses (ie the addresses of computers on the Internet, difficult to remember being in numerical form,).

All FNS names may be used in the same configuration used in for domain name server (DNS URN). In the following example, il nome FNS: fns.myname is used in a virtual server configuration for Apache HTTP server:

ServerName fns.myname
