criteria

Every free name and each closed group of criteria for managing its properties. These properties increase as the Free Name System evolves.

The first criterion allows to delegate various permits creation, modification and deletion of their names to other users FNS. There are different permissions for free names and closed groups, below in detail. The proxy may be granted by clicking the link criteria relative to each name and then adding users to delegate the next screen management. A user can choose at any time whether to accept or reject proxies by anyone, respectively activating or deactivating the corresponding function available in your profile.

Permits for free names
The permissions that you can turn to the free names are currently five. They are:

  1. Free name changes from a closed group.
  2. It allows the user to turn the delegate name free in closed group.

  3. Eliminate.
    It allows the user delegate the elimination of free name.

  4. Changing the IP.
    Allows the user delegate changing the IP assigned to the free name, if the latter points to an IP address.

  5. Change the DNS.
    Similar to the previous, It allows the user delegate changing the DNS name assigned to the free, if the latter points to a DNS record.

  6. Changing the type of pointing.
    It allows the user to change the delegate type pointing, to choose between: “punta all’IP” e “punta al DNS”.

Permits for closed groups
Permits for closed groups are currently ten. They are divided into two sets: The first set is composed of four elements and covers everything that is granted to the user delegate on the amendment of the closed group (IP, DNS URN, type pointing, elimination) exactly as for the free names; the second set consists of six elements and covers everything that is granted to the user delegate about the free names and closed groups immediately next level to that of the closed group managed by proxy. In other words, in the second set there are those permissions that can allow others also the entire management following the closed group managed by proxy names FNS level. Here are the ten permits in detail:

  1. Permits related to the closed group
    1. Eliminate.
      Allows the user to delete the delegate closed group. The elimination is always subject to deletion rules, so for example you can not if there will be other names FNS higher level in tow.

    2. Changing the IP.
      Allows the user delegate changing the IP assigned to the closed group, if the latter points to an IP address.

    3. Change the DNS.
      Similar to the previous, It allows the user delegate changing the DNS assigned to the closed group, if the latter points to a DNS record.

    4. Changing the type of pointing.
      It allows the user to change the delegate type pointing, to choose between: “punta all’IP” e “punta al DNS”.

  2. Permits related to FNS names immediately next level to that of the closed group
    1. Create.
      The delegated user can create free names of the following level to that of the closed group. Free name created will belong to the user delegating, It can normally manage the properties from their private area. After the creation, permits: “Free name changes from a closed group”, “Eliminate”, “Changing the IP”, “Change the DNS”, “Changing the type of pointing” relating to the name created will be granted to you delegate; the delegating user it will still control its own private area.

    2. It transforms from free names to closed groups.
      this option, if active, allow the user managing the transformation from free name on a closed group of all free of the following level names to closed group managed by proxy. CAUTION: this change, as the subsequent, It will only be possible if the permissions of the free name change will enable the transformation. If only one of the two options: “It transforms from free names to closed groups of level names X belonging to Y” in the closed group of next lower level, e “Free name changes from a closed group” in free name immediately next level will disattavata, the conversion will not be performed.

    3. Eliminate.
      this option, if active, allow the user delegated to delete all names free or closed groups of level immediately following the closed group managed by proxy. The elimination is always subject to deletion rules, so for example you can not if there will be other names FNS higher level in tow. CAUTION: Also this change will only be possible if the permissions of the free name or group enclosed by eliminating it will eliminate. If only one of the two options: “Delete the layer names X belonging to Y” in the closed group of next lower level, ed “Eliminate” in the free name or closed group of next highest level will disattavata, the elimination will not be performed.

    4. Changing the IP.
      this option, if active, allow the user to change the IP delegate all names free or closed groups of level immediately following the closed group managed by proxy. CAUTION: this change will only be possible if the permissions of the free name or closed group of which change the IP will enable the modification. If only one of the two options: “Change the IP of the level names X belonging to Y” in the closed group of next lower level, e “Changing the IP” in the free name or closed group of next highest level will disattavata, the change will not be made.

    5. Change the DNS.
      this option, if active, allow the user to change the DNS delegate all names free or closed groups of level immediately following the closed group managed by proxy. CAUTION: this change will only be possible if the permissions of the free name or closed group of which it will change the DNS modification. If only one of the two options: “Change the DNS of the level names X belonging to Y” in the closed group of next lower level, e “Change the DNS” in the free name or closed group of next highest level will disattavata, the change will not be made.

    6. Changing the type of pointing.
      this option, if active, allow the user to change the delegate type pointing to all names free or closed groups of level immediately following the closed by proxy managed group. CAUTION: this change will only be possible if the permissions of the free name or closed group of which change the pointing type will enable the modification. If only one of the two options: “Changing the type of pointing of the level names X belonging to Y” in the closed group of next lower level, e “Changing the type of pointing” in the free name or closed group of next highest level will disattavata, the change will not be made.

Each name FNS subject to delegation appears in both the private user delegator, both in the private user delegate even if in a reduced size (some features are not obviously available). The delegated user can easily distinguish their names from the names with the delegation from practicing GUI, as well as the fact that each name indicates its owner with responsibility.
